To make an appointment with the Visa Office of the Consulate General of Italy in Los Angeles (click the following prenot@mi portal: https://prenotami.esteri.it/).
Please note that due to demand volume, the visa office of the Consulate General of Italy in Los Angeles, will avail itself of the right to CANCEL all appointments that have not been confirmed no later than three (3) calendar days prior to the date of the appointment.
Hence, you must remember to CONFIRM your appointment as early as 10 days before, but NO LATER than 3 days from the scheduled date.
In the event of a cancellation, a new appointment must to be booked via the online portal, and this may affect or delay your intended departure.
In order to speed up the visa process, for Schengen Visa (less than 90 days) it is advisable that, after booking an appointment with the visa section, applicants fill the visa online request form available here https://e-applicationvisa.esteri.it/ and print it.
This printed form must be physically (not by mail/email) presented to the Visa Office on the day of the appointment and signed in the presence of a Visa Officer, together with all the relevant documentation.
Please note applications can be submitted up to six months before the start of the planned trip and, no later than 15 calendar days prior to the departure date.
