Italy at the Winter Fancy Food Festival – Las Vegas

On January 21st and 22nd, 2024, Consul General Raffaella Valentini returned on a mission to Las Vegas to participate to the inauguration of the Italian Pavilion of the Winter Fancy Food Festival and to the Gala dinner, organized by the Italian Trade Agency and the Italian Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and  Forests, in support of the candidacy of Italian Cuisine as UNESCO intangible heritage. The Italian delegation was led by the President of the ICE Agency, Matteo Zoppas, by the Head of the International Relations Office of the Ministry of Agriculture, Anna Maria Nastri, and by the new Director of the ICE Office in New York, Erica di Giovancarlo.

This winter edition of Fancy Food, the largest and most important fair in North America dedicated to food specialties and now in its 48th edition, welcomed an Italian pavilion with 74 and 87 stands, the largest international exhibition space of the fair.
