Message from the Consul General
Dear Compatriots, dear friends of the Italian-American community,
On March 1st, I took office as Consul General of Italy in Los Angeles.
It is a great honor for me to represent Italy in such a dynamic and engaging reality like Los Angeles, Southern California and the South-Western United States.
I begin this new professional adventure with enthusiasm and pride. I am certain that you will continue to support the initiatives of the Consulate General as you have always done with my predecessors and, particularly, with Consul General Silvia Chiave, to whom I convey my personal thanks for the great work done here in the service of Italy.
I will be dedicated to ensure and improve the efficiency of the consular services for Italian nationals and residents as well as to guarantee assistance to our citizens.
Coordinating with the Embassy in Washington and with the precious contributions of the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles, the Italian Trade Agency and with the help of you all, the Consulate will promote and further reinforce the ties of friendship and cooperation between Los Angeles and Italy in numerous fields: cultural, economic, scientific, academic and linguistic.
Within the vast area of the jurisdiction of this Consulate General, which includes Southern California, Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico, together with our Honorary Consuls, we will continue to listen, propose ideas, build new partnership opportunities with you, the members of the Italian community, who contribute in a determining manner to the enhancement of the excellence, innovation and talent which distinguish our Country in the world.
The Consulate General will always be a point of reference for you.
A place of open and constructive dialogue.
I know that I can count on the support of all of you in this new, important beginning.
