Please be informed that pursuant to Law Decree D.L. 145 dated October 11 2024, starting from January 11, 2025 fingerprinting is required for national visa applicants, intending to stay more than 90 consecutive days in Italy for different purposes, including study purposes.
Therefore, applications sent by mail can no longer be accepted. All national visa applicants will have to schedule their appointments with the visa department.
Please note that, for the time being, Honorary Consulates cannot collect fingerprints of visa applicants.
Due to the high demand of national visas, in order to avoid delays on our side it is essential to book your appointments well in advance to the date of intended travel to Italy. At the date of your appointment, please bring all the documents listed on our website.
