Yesterday afternoon, March 19th, Consul General Raffaella Valentini, the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute Emanuele Amendola, and the Honorary Consul, Roberta Gentili-Purcell participated remotely in “Italian Career and Alumni Panel” organized by the Italian program of the Arizona State University on Tempe campus (Arizona). The event was focused on strengthening the relations between Italy and Arizona as well as to support the teaching of Italian in the US. The Consul General reminded the participants that in 2022, almost 215,000 students started or continued studying Italian in the United States with 39,000 American students that choose Italy as their destination to enrich their academic studies. Thank you to the students that participated in the panel and a special thanks to Serena Ferrando and Fiona Lucarelli Flaherty for organizing this important initiative.
