The President of the City Council of Brindisi, Luciano Loiacono, paid an official visit to Los Angeles on June 17-23, during which he met with social and economic counterparts. He was also invited to attend a special session at the Los Angeles City Council. In the picture below President Loiacono appears with Shaolin Temple Cultural Ambassador Venerable Abbot Shi Yanfan (native of Brindisi) together with Shaolin Temple Foreign Affairs Office representative Wang Yumin, received in delegation by the Consul General.
