On June 6th Andrea Bocelli has made a special appearance at a gala event “Celebrating All Fathers” promoted by the Simin Hope Foundation at Paramount Studios, Hollywood, in honor of the late Mr. R. Hashemizadeh Senior. Bocelli was accompanied by his family, including his two sons who went on stage for a brief performance with their father. Among the other guests and performers of the evening also musician/composer David Foster, comedian Maz Jobrani and singer Andy Madadian. Consul General Perrone presented an award to Italian chef Bruno Serato, “a special individual who, through his daily actions has become a father to many children in need in Orange County”. Owner of the White House restaurant in Anaheim, CA, Serato feeds today nearly 200 children with meals seven nights a week, having already reached over half a million servings since 2005.
