The Consul General’s residence opened its doors on June 20th to inaugurate the exhibition “La Casa all’Italiana. Gio Ponti in L.A.”. The house was transformed into a “Ponti” residence with vintage pieces of furniture and decorations on display. The center-pieces of the show are the 1967 Los Angeles Cathedral and the sketches for Villa Koo in Marin County, CA. The exhibit includes a selection of unique photographs by Renato D’Agostin interpreting the “soul” of the pieces on show. The installation will remain open for private viewing sessions until the 30th of June.
