Alitalia has announced that it has suspended the flight from New York (JFK) to Rome (FCO) from 5 to 31 May 2020.
The Embassy reminds that there are no limitations for Italians who want to return to Italy from the USA. In Italy they will have to comply with the provisions adopted by the Italian authorities for the containment of the contagion. The Italian Embassy in Washington informs that some American and European companies continue to ensure connections from the main cities in the US to European airports from which it is possible to continue the journey to Italy. Attention is also drawn to the importance of avoiding the expiration of the visa or ESTA.
