{"id":8109,"date":"2025-06-04T14:42:53","date_gmt":"2025-06-04T21:42:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/conslosangeles.esteri.it\/?p=8109"},"modified":"2025-07-14T13:07:29","modified_gmt":"2025-07-14T20:07:29","slug":"italian-national-day-los-angeles-2025-press-release","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/conslosangeles.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dal_consolato\/2025\/06\/italian-national-day-los-angeles-2025-press-release\/","title":{"rendered":"ITALIAN NATIONAL DAY, LOS ANGELES 2025: PRESS RELEASE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Consulate General of Italy in Los Angeles celebrated, in collaboration with the local partners of the \u201cSistema Italia\u201d (Italian Cultural Institute, Italian Trade Agency, IACCW, ENIT), <strong>the seventy-ninth anniversary of the Italian Republic at the top of Beverly Hills<\/strong>, in the extraordinary setting of the prestigious residence <strong>\u201cCasa Lago\u201d.<\/strong> The over 600 guests, mainly representatives of the Italian and Italian-American community of Los Angeles and Southern California, were welcomed by the <strong>Consul General of Italy, Raffaella Valentini,<\/strong> and by the famous TV host <strong>Jimmy Kimmel<\/strong>, guest of honor, who introduced the event from the stage, celebrating his Ischian roots.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The event included distinguished <strong>representatives of local institutions <\/strong>including the Mayor of Beverly Hills and <strong>celebrities from the world of entertainment, business, culture, science and sports<\/strong>. Hon. <strong>Christian Di Sanzo<\/strong>, Italian parliamentary representative for North and Central America, also attended the celebration.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The institutional moment was followed by a <strong>fashion show<\/strong> by the Italian clothing brand <strong>Genny<\/strong>, with its own boutique in Beverly Hills. Catering was provided by <strong>Eataly<\/strong>, one of the main protagonists in the Italian food and wine scene in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Guests \u00a0were able to accompany their meals with <strong>Aperol Spritz <\/strong>and <strong>Campari<\/strong>, or chose the <strong>Ferrari Trento<\/strong> bubbles and the wines offered by <strong>Gaetano d\u2019Acquino<\/strong>, historic Italian wine importer in Los Angeles. <strong>Patrizia Pasqualetti<\/strong> curated delicious <strong>ice creams<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Guests had <strong>photo opportunities<\/strong> on new <strong>Lamborghini<\/strong> models, on <strong>the Tricolore Vespas<\/strong> and on one of the most iconic <strong>MV Augusta<\/strong> motorcycles.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This event was made possible thanks to the contribution of <strong>numerous sponsors, including Eagle Productions, Essilor Luxottica, Florim, ITA Airways, Italian Heritage Foundation, Landi Technologies, Leonardo, Muse Capital, De Cecco, Panorama and K productions<\/strong> and also thanks to the help provided by <strong>the Little Italy of Los Angeles Association (LILAA).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As said by Consul General Valentini: \u201cT<em>his evening is dedicated to pride.
