The exhibit tells the story of the most famous and significant performances of Verdi\u2019s operas through set designs and costumes created by some of the most important artists of the XX century, such as Luchino Visconti, Franco Zeffirelli, Pierluigi Pizzi, Danilo Donati e Nicola Benois. The installation, which included 18 original costumes dating back to 1916 worn among others by Beniamino Gigli, Renata Scotto and Angela Gheorghiu, was introduced by the Director of the Historical Archives at the Rome Opera House, Francesco Reggiani.
