Please bring original and photocopies of the documents and the money order and the envelope completed.\u00a0\u00a0 <em>FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN DELAY OF THE PROCESS AND IN SOME CASES EVEN IN DENIAL OF THE APPLICATION WITH THE POSTPONEMENT TO ANOTHER DATE.\u00a0 <\/em><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>A) Applicants that are ONLY Italian Citizens:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1)\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/conslosangeles.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DomandaPassMAGGIORENNInew-2.pdf\"><strong>Passport application form<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2)\u00a0<strong>Pictures<\/strong>\u00a0are normally taken in the Office at the time of the application, but we still recommend to bring one picture (US Passport size are acceptable) in case our new photolive system is down or malfunction.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3)\u00a0<strong>Previous Italian passport<\/strong>\u00a0(unless you are a first-time applicant or if it has been lost\/stolen, in which case you should file a Police report and bring a copy of it with you);<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">4)\u00a0<strong>US Visa or Green Card issued after August 16th, 1992<\/strong>. If these documents cannot be provided the applicant will have to provide a US Immigration declaration confirming the applicant never became an American Citizen (certificate of nonexistence of record) or show the US entry stamp on the passport. Without the above NO PASSPORT will be issued;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">5)\u00a0<strong>Passport Fee<\/strong>. Please consult our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/conslosangeles.esteri.it\/it\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-italiano\/altri-servizi\/albo-consolare\/estratto-tabella-diritti-consolari\/\"><strong>Consular fees<\/strong><\/a>: the amount corresponds to the line \u201cRILASCIO ART. 27 (A + B)\u201d. Payments can only be made with money orders or cashier\u2019s checks made out to \u201cConsulate General of Italy\u201d. <strong>No personal checks or credit\/debit cards are accepted;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">6)\u00a0Normally, the passport will be issued the same day of the application. However, <strong>please bring also with you a pre-paid, self-addressed\u00a0USPS Express or Priority\u00a0Mail return envelope <\/strong>(we do not accept Fedex, UPS or DHL) and fill out this\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/conslosangeles.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/AutSpedPass.pdf\">mailing consent form<\/a>.
