Consul General Raffaella Valentini, together with her Deputy, Consul Lorenza Errighi, and Italian Trade Agency Director Giosafat Riganò, attended the Italian American Heritage Month Proclamation, an initiative led by Councilmember Tim McOsker in collaboration with the Little Italy of Los Angeles Association (LILAA).

District 15, represented by Councilmember McOsker, includes San Pedro and the Port of Los Angeles, where nearly 40,000 Italian Americans continue to contribute to the city’s identity and development.

LILAA Cultural Ambassador Anna Manunza, recipient of the title Cavaliere dell’Ordine della Stella d’Italia, spoke about the significance of cultural connections between Italy and the United States.

The event celebrated heritage, friendship, and the enduring bond between the Italian and American communities.
