HOLDERS OF RESIDENCE PERMITS (PERMESSO DI SOGGIORNO) EXPIRING OR EXPIRED AFTER 31 JANUARY 2020 KEEP THEIR VALIDITY UNTIL 30 APRIL 2021.
The Law Decree n. 2/2021 has in fact ordered the extension to 30 April 2021 of the validity of residence permits expiring up to that date, as well as the other titles referred to in article 103, paragraphs 2-quater and 2-quinquies, of the decree-law 17 March 2020, n. 18.
The text of art. 3 bis co. 3 DL 125/2020, modified by art. 5, DL 2/2021: “ The residence permits and qualifications referred to in article 103, paragraphs 2-quater and 2-quinquies, of the decree-law of 17 March 2020, n. 18, converted, with amendments, by law 24 April 2020, n. 27, including those expiring until April 30, 2021, retain their validity until the same date “.
