Ambassador Bisogniero met with the cast of L.A. Opera’s La Cenerentola by Gioachino Rossini at an event at Consul Perrone’s residence.  Members of the cast were Italian artists Vito Priante in the role of Dandini, Alessandro Corbelli as Don Magnifico, Nicola Ulivieri as Alidoro, as well as assistant conductor Bruno Cinquegrani.

The event was also attended by the President and CEO of LA Opera Christopher Koelsch and by various members of the Board. The Ambassador of Italy and the Consul General were later greeted by the L.A. Opera President and by the Chairman of the Board at the Cenerentola performance on April 3, which marked a debut of a new singer in the title role,  Georgian mezzo-soprano Ketevan Kemoklidze, as well as a special milestone for Music Director James Conlon: his 200th mainstage performance at LA Opera.
