The President of the Italian Trade Commission to visit L.A.

The President of Agenzia ICE – (Italian Trade Commision), Riccardo Monti, will pay a visit to Los Angeles on February 14 – 17, in order to reach out to California’s business community and illustrate the new investment and trade opportunities with Italy.

Among others, President Riccardo Monti will meet with the Board of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, with representatives of  local companies active in high-tech and cutting-edge sectors, as well as with members of the Italian business community in L.A.

In addition to being President of Agenzia ICE, Ricardo Monti is Advisor for International Activities to the Minister for Economic Development, Board member of Assocamerestero (the association of the Italian chambers of commerce overseas) and Vice President of Simest (the government agency for venture capital and finance to Italian investment overseas).

Prior to his current position, Riccardo Monti managed directly the development and international outreach of the Value Partners Group. He also worked with companies and governments of more than thirty countries, particularly in emerging markets (Latin America, Asia, Middle East), with special reference to privatization, international expansion and delocalization projects.
