Kick off with an Italian flare to fundraise for the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra (March 18, 2012)

A private residence in Brentwood hosted on March 18th the first fundraising event which initiates the countdown to the Los Angeles Philharmonic Gala to be held on May 5th .  The “kick-off party” was organized by the International Committee, the same one that promotes every year the “Intenational Night Ball Gala”.
The Ball will be held at the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion. Every year a different country is honored with a program ispired by its tradition, culture and arts. This year’s edition will feature Italy with a special artistic program, the details of which will soon be disclosed.
The Los Angeles Philharmonic is famous for being an innovative and contemporary orchestra, able to keep up with changing times, while upholding the best of the world’s musical tradition. It is today supported by private donations and benefits such as the ones promoted by its International Committee. From the beginning, dating back to 1919, the orchestra was lead by some of the most talented and internationally recognized Maestros, up to its present conductor, Venezuelan born Gustavo Dudamel.
